The new Kindle also offers better contrast than previous editions and it looks fantastic compared to all other e-readers I've seen. I have no difficulty seeing the screen in the dark or in bright sunlight – it really opens up the ability play almost anywhere you are. Of course, you'll still need a separate light for very dark areas.

Another big addition for the Kindle is that it offers three double storage compared to Kindle 2. I've never had a problem with the amount of storage since I see myself possibly fill this space much more (I'm not the mp3 on it), but maybe in the future if certain applications or media files are placed on the Kindle, it could have been a problem. The extra space in the new model is certainly a welcome addition, but return the memory card slot that was included on a Kindle would have been a more welcome addition in my opinion.

Among the e-readers, I doubt recommend the Kindle 3 if it is not just because he has better size / form factor, contrast, battery life, and speed compared to all other e-reader, I tried. On top of that, you get the beautiful Amazon shopping experience and choice for all your documents and can keep your library Kindle intact between any any other device you want to download an application on Kindle.

The question of whether you need a Kindle vs. another type of device reading becomes a little trickier and really comes down to what you want to use.

Do you want a device to read novels, can be read out, and something very light that you almost forget it's there? Buy the Kindle.

I read in my spare time and at night before sleeping and I was wondering if the Kindle is it's worth! It is good enough … ($ 139 Wi-Fi and 3G with ads, but I do not care) and selection in the Kindle store is good.
